An alumni network and virtual learning environment will continue support of MSc graduates beyond their time in Oxford. A series of career events will be made available throughout the year and skills-building activities integrated in the curriculum to support various trajectories. The programme consists of compulsory modules which cover sports injury; lower limb; upper limb; head, neck and spine; advanced sports injury, exercise physiology, health and physical activity and research methods. You can choose one option from rehabilitation of sports injuries or team and event medicine. The programme focuses on the prevention and treatment of sports injuries in particular.

We welcome applications from prospective students who hold a primary medical or allied health sciences degree e.g. medicine, physiotherapy, sports science. Applicants should have a minimum of one year post-graduation clinical experience relating to their primary degree. This MSc is designed to give clinicians a deeper understanding of sports medicine, sports injuries and exercise medicine.

Our world-class facilities are designed to give students a simulated feel of the clinical environment they will work in. We offer a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, research and CPD courses at our campuses in Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough. Our two latest COVID reports focus on the public health response to the pandemic and how COVID has impacted existing health inequalities.

Experience of global health issues including at least one year’s experience in a resource-limited context; the one year’s experience may include all work related to global health including work with government and non-governmental organisations. The first term will consist of topics on research methods, an overview of some major global health challenges, and topics related to the research and practice of global health. We’re excited to be introducing a 5-year undergraduate degree in Medicine leading to the award of Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery . The new Brunel Medical School will be part of the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences.
